Guvy Hothi

I’m a civil engineer who enjoys making things work – especially when they’re complex, messy, or quietly falling apart in the background.

Over the last decade, I’ve worked on asset management and major UK infrastructure projects like HS2 and East West Rail. I’ve led large-scale earthworks strategies, contributed to multi-disciplinary problem-solving, and assessed all kinds of bridges. I’m drawn to systems – where the real bottlenecks are, how things connect, and how to make them flow better.

That mindset extends beyond engineering. I’ve built a platform helping thousands of students navigate postgraduate research, and designed the operational backbone of a growing service business. Different fields, same focus: building lean, reliable systems that scale.

This site is where I share what I’m learning – from simplifying workflows and solving operational problems to bringing a bit more logic (and maybe some code) to the way we work.

Feel free to take a look around, and get in touch if you’d like to connect.
